Project Process  Photo From Istock My game will be called Ciara's Chase it consists of Shapes and after asking numerous amount of people, shapes come easy to players and they have some satisfaction when the shapes are equal and make it to the end. So with this information, I decided to do a platform type of game with at least two levels where each time they get harder and harder to do. The game should start off with a square being the main player and dropping down straight away on some type of platform. The player has the ability to move right or left only and can jump by pressing the space bar.  The player will start off by trying to jump over some gaps and some death boxes along the way. The death boxes will have a clear indication on them from being the colour red. Once you hit the death boxes you start all the way back at the beginning. If the player succeeds by going through all the gaps and death boxes they will reach the end of the level where there will be a yell...

Unity Tutorial 06

Image
Unity Tutorial 06 For this weeks Unity tutorial, it was to learn more about animation for the character as well as learn how to do the sound effects as well. While doing this tutorial I followed along with the video provided and started to get the hang of it as time went on I tried to do some by myself without the video but got stuck on some bits. For the background track, I learned that you just put it on loop while the game is playing which can be pretty handy to do. We added this molecule of smoke and soil to the player and from that point, we could alter it in our code just to control the position they were displayed on the player. There was a control centre with data and a rundown of what's new with the molecule impact and you can make speedy and simple changes to the molecule with this little box. For the path that is left behind the player, we ensured it would possibly be initiated when the player "isOnGround" and with the blast, we set it so it would possibly det...

Game Decisions

Image
Game Decisions Games can be more qualified to individuals with hypotheses or viewpoints that are like human brain science rather than having the player simply blindly going for it and having no idea or thought behind the game. Stream is a vital part of gaming in the present age and its key for all game makers to have a comprehension of how Flow functions A basic method of how deals with the most fundamental way are: Present the player with a test The player then, at that point, finishes this test Keep up with the stream state This is critical that the player keeps up with the streams state since its what will make the player continue playing the game, so keeping up with the stream started for the player is the most troublesome undertaking for engineers out there, individuals these days are continually searching for the following huge thing, so assuming designers can make an extraordinary game that consolidates a superior stream they will have a great commitment with their crowd an...
